Coronial Inquests

Coroners ensure all sudden, unexpected or unexplained deaths, suspected deaths, fires and explosions are properly investigated. If necessary, an inquest into the death is held.

This session provides an overview of the role of the Coroner, and the coronial process in NSW. This session also looks at how coronial inquests can improve practice and prevent future deaths.
