NSWNMA 78th Annual Conference Professional Day
The NSWNMA Professional Day for the 2023 Annual Conference begins at 9.30am on Wednesday, 30 August in the Pyrmont Theatre of the International Convention Centre (ICC). Registrations and the exhibition open from 8:30am. Make sure you read all the information below so you’re ready for the day!
Come early from 8.30am to walk through the Industry Trade Exhibition & enjoy a barrista coffee generously sponsored by Charles Sturt University located on Level 2 in the Gallery.

General Information
SCANNING
Your barcoded name tag is your credential for attendance and should be worn at all times during Professional Day.
The Association is required to maintain accurate records of attendance at Professional Day. To support this, your barcoded name tag will be scanned upon registration each morning.
MOBILES
Mobile phones are to be turned off or on silent mode during sessions.
Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Convention Centre, read here how to access.
PARKING
Early bird parking is available at Wilson Parking Harbourside 100 Murray St Pyrmont.
TAXIS
Taxi rank: Iron Wharf Place near the Sofitel Hotel (refer to map).
COFFEE
Coffee is available free of charge during meal breaks from the coffee stations in the Industry Exhibition area.
Sponsored barista coffee & tea will be available on Wednesday from 8.30-9.30am and during Morning Tea break and is generously sponsored by Charles Sturt University.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Lunches for attendees with dietary requirements will be available at a separate pickup table in the Industry Exhibition, The Gallery (level 2).

ATM
Located on the ground floor of the ICC near the First Aid Room.
CLOAKROOM SERVICES
Located on the ground floor of the ICC at the Customer Service desk. Available daily from 7:30 – 17:30.
FIRST AID
First Aid is available on site at the ICC, please see the staff at the Conference Enquiries desk.
HEARING LOOP
Available from the ground floor, Customer Service desk.
MESSAGE BOARD
There is a message board located at the Conference Enquiries desk. If you are expecting a message, you should check the board regularly. If you wish to leave a message, please see staff at the Conference Enquiries desk.
SMOKING
The ICC is a non-smoking venue and smoking within the venue is prohibited. This includes e-cigarettes. Smoking must be 10 metres away from the venue.
TELEPHONES
No public telephones are available at the ICC.
The Electronic Document Support desk in the Pyrmont Foyer will assist attendees with any IT queries. It is recommended that attendees arrive with a fully charged electronic device as there will be limited charging outlets.
Electronic device accessories (eg battery packs, headphones, charger cables) are available to purchase at the ‘powerpod’ vending machine located on the ground floor near the Customer Service desk.
We encourage you to visit the Industry Exhibition and the wide range of stands providing professional advice and services, community groups, financial services and of course some fantastic Association merchandise for your retail therapy (card only, no cash will be accepted).
Located in The Gallery (level 2) and will be operational from 8:30am and during breaks.
Please note: There will be no retail trade this year.
A Professional Day survey will be conducted online via Survey Monkey and you will receive a link via email on Friday.
Your opinions are valuable and assist in planning our annual event.
Attendees who complete the survey and add their names will go in a draw for a $250 Coles/Myers gift card.
