We have made the decision to cancel our face-to-face education program, up to 31 July 2020. We will reassess this decision as the COVID-19 situation evolves in NSW and update members accordingly.
On this page you will find short videos that are taken from some of our face-to-face courses.
We’re currently redesigning some of our education so can deliver it online. We’d like to hear more about what you want, so we can tailor our education program accordingly.
CPD aims to enable nurses and midwives to maintain, improve, and broaden their professional knowledge, expertise and competence to meet their obligation to provide ethical, effective, safe and competent practice (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia).
The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) recognises that people learn in different ways. Accordingly, CPD may include formal and informal learning activities.
CPD hours for the courses on this page can be calculated by the time you spend actively learning. This will vary between individuals, as further self-directed learning can be included (e.g. – reviewing associated resources and completing the reflective questionnaire).
You will find more information on CPD requirements on the ‘Your Annual CPD Obligations’ video below. You can read more about CPD requirements here.
Information on how to obtain a CPD Certificate for undertaking each session is detailed within each course.
