The NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association (NSWNMA) is offering a limited number of scholarships to assist members with the costs of attending the upcoming United in Compassion (UIC) conference on Medicinal Cannabis.
The NSWNMA and the ANMF are partnering with UIC to engage members in this emerging therapeutic field. The nursing conference will be held on the first day of the UIC Symposium Friday, 13 August on the Sunshine Coast.
Nurses and midwives will have the opportunity to learn from International and Australian Medicinal Cannabis experts about the most current research, legislation, and developments.

The scholarship will provide $1,000 to cover attendance to the 1-day nursing conference on 13 August, with the balance to go towards attendance at any additional conference days / functions, travel, accommodation and incidentals. Any additional costs or expenses above $1,000 are to be covered by the individual.
Who may apply (eligibility criteria):
Applications Close: 5pm, Friday 21 May 2021. Applications received after 5pm will not be considered.
