Short course in Sexual Health Nursing

ASHM invites you to attend a Short Course in Sexual Health Nursing to be held in Surry Hills, Sydney on the 22-23 November  2013. This course is designed for Registered and Enrolled Nurses whose patients have, or are at risk of, blood borne viruses (BBVs) and sexually transmissible infections (STIs). It will provide nurses with the introductory practice skills and knowledge to incorporate sexual health screening and management into their current area of specialty. This session attracts 18.5 hours of Continuing Professional Development, as per The College of Nursing CPD Program. This activity has been endorsed by APNA, according to approved quality standards. Completion of the program entitles eligible participants to claim 18.5 of CPD hours. Please note that this is a FREE course for NSW nurses. The cost for the course for non-NSW participants is $400 (ASHM members) or $440 (non-ASHM members). Priority to attend the course will be given to NSW nurses. Costs associated with this course have been covered by the Sexual Health Nursing Program administered by ASHM and funded by NSW Ministry of Health.
