25 Years of Innovation and Change in Neonatal Nursing Keynote Speaker is Bonnie Stevens RN, PhD – Perinatal Society of Australia and New Zealand (PSANZ) Visiting Professor 2014 Dr Bonnie Stevens, the Director of the University of Toronto Centre for the Study of Pain, is a Professor at the Lawrence S Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, the Faculty of Medicine, and the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. She is the Signy Hildur Eaton Chair in Paeditric Nursing Research as well as Associate Chief of Nursing Research and a Senior Scientist at the Research Institute, Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Stevens’ program of research focuses on: improving paediatric pain practices and outcomes through knowledge translation (KT); and assessment and management of pain in infants at risk for neurological impairment. Dr. Stevens is dedicated to finding the most effective ways of translating evidence into practice for practitioners, researchers, and policy makers.
