3rd Asia Pacific International Conference on Qualitative Research in Nursing, Midwifery and Health
Conferences
Registration is now open for the 3rd Asia-Pacific International Conference on Qualitative Research in Nursing, Midwifery and Health. The conference will be held in Newcastle, NSW, Australia from 1st – 3rd October, 2014. The focus of the 3rd International conference is on compassion and care in a changing world. This event acknowledges the changing landscapes of world health and health care provision. It is within this context that health care professionals, educators, leaders, social developers and commentators deliberate on the significance of compassion and care in the face of rapid change, global fiscal restraints, environmental degradation, and the imperatives of technology. This Conference offers delegates a forum for sharing qualitative research findings and an opportunity to engage in discussion about human science research that relates to care and compassion in a changing world.
Abstracts Submissions close on 1st May 2014
Abstract submissions are open for oral papers and poster presentations. Abstracts are invited from academics, clinicians, educators and practitioners engaged in qualitative research from a range of disciplines including nursing, health sciences, medicine, midwifery, the arts and social sciences, psychology, education, and other health disciplines through which qualitative research is being advanced. Abstracts of up to 250 words are invited but not limited to topics such as: • Leadership, compassion and care in Health Care/Social development • Health, Education and compassion in global landscapes • Health, Education and Social Care: Stories from the field • Compassion in the Community • The future, innovation and change • Relational ethics Oral papers: 20mins
