Conferences

As every woman reaches their hall mark stage in life, there is a plethora of physiological and psychosocial changes that can occur. Some of the serious health issues that face women at this stage may include stroke, osteoporosis and or cardiovascular disease. What every woman should know, is that long term illnesses resulting from the ageing process can be minimised with the right lifestyle changes and care. As nurses we need to be aware of potential risks associated with this phase of life, and keep up-to-date with assessment and education about modern healthcare for women. No matter where you work, as a nurse – updating your knowledge in caring for women 45 years and over is always a wise decision.   http://www.ausmed.com.au/course/womens-health-45/program/sydney-december-2013
