Working with Carers in a Health Setting

A workshop for Healthcare Staff

Carers NSW would like to invite you to participate in a FREE trial of our newly developed CPD module. Earn CPD points while you contribute your expertise towards the development of our continuing professional development module for healthcare staff. Topics will include:

• Overview of Carers – Understand the role and value of carers
• Carers in the Health System – Understand the benefits of partnering with carers Why Engage Carers? – Implement strategies to support and engage carers in healthcare
• Carers NSW Services –Identify how Carers NSW services can support carers

Morning tea and lunch provided *A focus group will be held from 11:45am-12:45pm to evaluate the effectiveness of the workshop. A certificate of attendance will be issued.
