- You will be asked to nominate your clinical preferences when you are invited to interview. When we allocate you to a placement, we will try to take your clinical preferences into account as much as possible.
- General stream rotations 2 x 6-month rotations through medical and surgical.
- Specialty streams rotate through all areas of the chosen specialty.
- Option to complete a community health/general exchange program in March intakes
Royal North Shore
- ICU and perioperative streams in February
- NICU, General streams in March and July.
- Mental health stream in March and July.
- Drug and alcohol service stream in March and July
- 2nd year transition program in ED & peri operative
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital
- General streams in March and July
- Mental health stream in March and July.
- Drug and alcohol service stream in March and July
- Community/Acute Exchange in March. 6 months with Northern Sydney Home Nursing Service, 6 months placement at Ku-ring-gai Hospital
Ryde Hospital
- General streams, Ryde/Cooma Hospital Metro/Rural Exchange in March
- General streams in July
- Community/Acute Exchange in March. 6 months with Northern Sydney Home Nursing Service, 6 months placement at Ryde Hospital
Mona Vale Hospital
- General streams in March and July
- Community/Acute Exchange in March. 6 months with Northern Sydney Home Nursing Service, 6 months placement at Mona Vale Hospital
