Get involved and
make a difference

The time has come to stand together as one to get commitments from the political parties to ensure nurses and midwives can care to the fullest.
Here are some ideas of how you can get involved in our campaign leading to the election on July 2.

6 things you can do to make
a difference this election

  1. Talk to your friends, family, neighbours and work colleagues about what the Turnbull government is doing to our public hospitals and Medicare.
  2. Use social media to get our message out about defending our public health system.
  3. Email five people and ask them to watch our TV ad online and share the link with five more people:
  4. Visit our campaign website and get involved in our campaign. Go to for more information.
  5. Doorknock and letterbox your neighbourhood and let the community hear what is happening to our public hospitals, Medicare and Aged Care from the perspective of nurses and midwives.
  6. Vote to protect our public health system.
