For International Nurses’ Day on Monday 12 May, NSWNMA members participated in a global action along with other affiliates of Global Nurses United (GNU). Our action, under the theme of NSWNMA – a force for change, took place via Instagram, the photo app. GNU, which was created in June 2013, is committed to standing up against the harmful effects of austerity measures, privatisation and cuts in health care services.
