The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) has commissioned a project to be undertaken by Southern Cross University to review the National competency standards for the registered Nurse (RN). The revised document, now titled Registered nurse standards for practice, is currently open for public consultation.
We strongly urge our members to visit the NMBA website at: http://www.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au/News/Current-Consultations.aspx and complete the survey on the standards for practice. Your input will ensure the final version of the revised Standards is relevant to your practice.
The closing date for your feedback is 3 July 2015.
