The Association will debit your account as your fees fall due. The Association will only use this authority to debit regular fees.
Additional amounts for outstanding fees will only be debited if you specifically authorise us to do so.
The Association will act in accordance with our Privacy Statement, while noting that your financial institution may require such information to be provided in connection with a claim made on it relating to an alleged incorrect or wrongful debit.
The Association will notify you with at least 14 days notice of any changes in your membership fees via The Lamp.
The Association will investigate and deal promptly with any queries, claims or complaints regarding debits and provide a response within 20 business days.
You will ensure that the account details on the Payment Options are identical to the account details held by your bank or financial institution.
You will let us know with 14 days notice in writing if the nominated account is altered, transferred or closed.
You will check with your bank or financial institution that the amounts debited/ charged to your nominated account for your Association fees are correct.
If the charging arrangements are stopped by you or your nominated bank or financial institution, you will arrange a suitable alternative payment method with the Association.
The New South Wales Nurses and Midwives’ Association operates in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
