Flexible work practices

We support the implementation of flexible work practices and provide a range of options for arranging working conditions so that employees can satisfy family or other responsibilities while at the same time meet the needs and requirements of their employment. These include, Carers Leave, Family and Community Services Leave, Part-Time work, Career Break Scheme, Working from Home and flexible hours. We acknowledge the diversity of our workforce and recognises the family as a stakeholder in organisational operations. We also recognise that balancing work, life and family is not an issue exclusive to one gender.

Rostered Day Off (RDO)

Full-Time employees will be entitled to 12 RDO’s per annum based on one day per calendar month.

Salary packaging

As an employee of a not-for-profit organisation, you can take advantage of salary packaging benefits. This means you can sacrifice part of your pre tax salary and reduce the tax paid on your total remuneration package.

Paid Christmas break

Our offices are closed between the Christmas and New Year Public Holidays with employees paid for days that they would normally have worked.

Paid parental and partner leave

We offer fourteen weeks paid parental leave for staff who have completed 40 weeks continuous service. We also offer three weeks paid partner leave for staff who have completed 40 weeks continuous service.

Domestic violence leave

We offer 10 days domestic violence leave.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

EAP is a confidential counselling service available to all staff and immediate family members which aims to promote employee health, wellbeing and personal development. This is an unlimited, self-referred and free service.
