178 branches to strike this Wednesday

ratio-macquariest-rally3

NSWNMA branches across NSW are staffing rosters to ensure life-preserving care will be maintained during this Wednesday’s strike. The number of branches voting to strike has now grown to 178.

We are standing strong in our determination to achieve safer patient care despite the Government’s attempt to shut down your campaign by making a new Award that doesn’t include improvements to the nursing hours/ratios system.

Only NSWNMA members are protected on Wednesday

Make sure your membership is ‘financial’ before Wednesday so that you are fully protected by the Association. You can check and update your payments online at https://www.nswnma.asn.au/topics/2779.html.

Please encourage your colleagues to join if they haven’t already. A strong collective statement is important for the future of our profession and our patients.

Your registration cannot be jeopardised by taking industrial action.

Wear your blue NSWNMA scrubs and bring the kids

Wear your blue scrubs on Wednesday or buy them for $20 at the Sydney Olympic Park meeting.

Kids are welcome at the meetings.

Organise your transport – NSWNMA bus bookings for meeting transport have now closed.
