About the Presenter: Fiona O’Shannessy is a midwife of over 40 years’ experience in rural, remote and metropolitan centres. In 2022 Fiona joined the Perinatal Post-mortem Service of NSW as Perinatal Post-mortem Facilitator. She has extensive experience as a midwife caring for bereaved families and understand the challenges families and clinicians from rural and remote areas face. Fiona is passionate about education and supporting regional clinicians. While Fiona’s training was hospital based, she has completed a Master in Clinical Midwifery and Graduate Diploma in Bioethics.
