Terms & Conditions

• The purpose of this prize draw is to promote participation in the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) and NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association Exit Survey. The Promoter is NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association (ABN: 63 398 164 405) 50 O’Dea Avenue Waterloo NSW 2017 Australia, contactable on (02) 8595 1234 (“Promoter”).
• The promotion commences at 12:01am AEST on 12^th September 2023 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 1^st October 2023.
• Entry is only open to previous members of NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association, aged 16 years or older, who receive an invitation to take part in the Exit survey and submit a complete response to this survey, which is being conducted by the ACTU on behalf of the Promoter. Only one entry is allowed per person.
• Employees of the Promoter, the ACTU, and their family members are not eligible.
• Entry into the promotion is free, however, to enter, respondents must fully complete the online survey during the Promotional Period.
• People completing the survey will automatically be entered in the draw to win one of five individual prizes of $100.
• There are five individual prizes with a total prize pool value of $500.
• The prize will be delivered via email and is not transferable.
• The draw will take place on 5 October 2023 at 11:30AM at the ACTU, 365 Queen Street, Melbourne, Victoria. Entrants are not required to attend the draw.
• Following the draw, winners will be notified by email by 16^th October 2023, and the winners’ names will be published on the Promoter’s website by 11:59PM 20th October 2023. If a prize is unclaimed within two weeks of notification, the winner will forfeit their claim to a prize, and the Promoter reserves the right to draw another name.
• Given the prize pool total and the nature of this draw as a trade promotional lottery, no permit is currently required for any of the Australian jurisdictions; the draw will be conducted in compliance with all relevant legislation.
