Nurses and midwives in NSW are overworked and underpaid.
The NSW public health system remains in a staffing crisis. NSW nurses and midwives are the lowest paid in Australia. Experienced nurses and midwives are leaving due to poor pay and conditions, and the sector is failing to attract the new recruits needed.
Nurses and midwives are burnt out and exhausted. We are asking the NSW government to fix our pay so we can afford to stay in the professions we love.
You can show your support for nurses and midwives by sending the NSW government a message, tell them to stop taking us for granted and ask them to value nurses and midwives with a 15% pay increase.
