Nursing GradStart

  • February, May and July intakes (depending on first rotation)
  • 12-month, temporary full-time and part time (Tamworth only) positions available
  • Two rotations between Tamworth; Gunnedah; Quirindi; Manilla; Walcha; and Barraba in medical, surgical, aged care, emergency departments.
  • Three structured education days during the program. Other learning opportunities include DETECT, Intravenous Cannulation, Patient Controlled Analgesia, Urinary catheterisation and CVAD credentialing.
  • In-service programs held regularly in all facilities.
  • Access to clinical supervision is also available to the new graduate nurses
  • Accommodation – Staff accommodation is available on request
  • the opportunity for continuing employment is highly probable.
