The New South Wales Nurses and Midwives’ Association (NSWNMA) in association with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation New South Wales Branch (ANMF NSW Branch) is a strong and influential union for its members. About the team:

Our Administrative Services team is a customer focused team that provides support services to our members and internally to employees of the Association. The team includes reception, branch, administration, facilities, fleet management and membership services.

 

About the role:

We are seeking someone who has exceptional customer service skills and passion to work in a Trade Union environment as this role will be focused on membership enquiries. It operates in a contact centre setting and requires extensive interaction with nurses and midwives who are members and potential members of the Association. The primary purpose of this role is to deliver front-line high-quality customer service to members and prospective members to increase member engagement and grow our membership base.

The Association offers hybrid working, onsite-parking and is based at our Waterloo office.

 

Key accountabilities include:

  • Deliver a seamless member experience through high quality, timely and informed support.
  • Apply membership information, organisational policies and legislation to address requests and enquiries, via phone, email and other communication channels.
  • Maintain up to date records and databases.
  • Assist with reception duties and provide administration support as well.

 

Selection Criteria:

  • Strong communicator, with effective listening skills
  • Strong customer service experience in a high-volume environment
  • Can work autonomously and within a team
  • Adaptable to priorities and changing needs and priorities
  • Confidential in dealing with sensitive information.
  • Passionate for the Trade Union movement and improvers workers lives
