The Nepean Blue Mountains LHD has set up a Bushfire Relief Trust Fund for staff who have lost homes or suffered bushfire damage. This is their announcement of the fund:
‘The great spirit of our staff and your support for each other is evident as some staff are already thinking about how they can support colleagues who are suffering the devastating loss of their homes.
As such, the District has established a special purpose trust fund, the purpose of which is:
To collect, hold and disseminate donations for bushfire relief to affected staff members who have had loss or significant damage to property in the time of the Bushfire emergency during 2013.
The Director, Workforce People & Culture, will be custodian of this fund and dissemination will be approved by the Chief Executive.
Staff wishing to make donations can do so in the following ways:
1. Cashiers offices located at facilities.
2. Direct Payment: BSB: 032-099 Account: 521442 Account name: SP&T Fund
Description: Bushfire relief donation followed by your employee number (for receipt purposes)
3. Credit Card by phoning revenue services on 4734 2475. Mastercard, Visa & Amex accepted.
