Our Activism Award will recognise a NSWNMA financial member who has advocated for better workplace conditions, improved pay, or the interests of nurses, midwives or carers. This individual has worked tirelessly to drive positive systemic change, working toward a brighter and better future for the nursing and midwifery workforce.
Eligibility for Member of the Year, Community Award, and Activism Award:
- Nominees must have at least two years of financial membership of the NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association, Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (NSW Branch).
- Retired members are eligible, provided they have held a financial membership of the NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association, Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (NSW Branch) for at least two years at some stage of their career.
- Associate (student) NSWNMA members are not eligible.
