Our Community Award celebrates NSWNMA financial members who have significantly improved health outcomes in either their local community or a marginalised community in NSW. The winner will be an inspirational person who has demonstrated commitment to removing barriers, and/ or improving access to healthcare for communities in NSW.
Eligibility for Member of the Year, Community Award, and Activism Award:
- Nominees must have at least two years of financial membership of the NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association, Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (NSW Branch).
- Retired members are eligible, provided they have held a financial membership of the NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association, Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (NSW Branch) for at least two years at some stage of their career.
- Associate (student) NSWNMA members are not eligible.
