Say no to Abbott’s attack on Medicare

The Abbott government’s National Commission of Audit is considering the introduction of a $5 fee for every visit to a GP with the possibility that this could be expanded to Emergency visits.

It’s time for to say no to this attack on our health care system and demand better for Australia. We call for a free and funded health and dental care system and more funding to hospitals!

This Saturday at 1pm Sydney Town Hall Save Our Medicare will hold a rally, with a number of speakers including Sally McManus from the ASU and Annie Butler from the NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association.
