At the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) National Biennial Conference this Thursday-Friday 17-18 October 2013 in Brisbane, a rally will be held. Members and supporters of the ANMF from around Australia will march to Parliament and present a petition calling on the Newman LNP government to immediately cease its vicious cuts to jobs and services in Queensland Health and the planned privatisation of public health services and to abandon its repressive and adversarial approach to industrial relations.
Please sign the petition in support of the efforts of the Queensland Nurses’ Union to oppose the actions of the Newman LNP government which threaten the integrity of nursing and midwifery in Queensland and the provision of high quality health services to the community of Queensland.
